Tamiya 18640 Raikiri (MA Chassis)
Introducing Mr. Kota Nezu (Designer/"Creative Communicator")
Following a spell at renowned manufacturer Toyota, Mr. Nezu founded znug design in 2005. He designs a range of items in addition to cars, and has been awarded a number of highly prestigious awards in Japan.
Inspired by a Legend
Tamiya once again joins forces with car designer Kota Nezu of znug design to bring you a new and exciting Mini 4WD model. Raikiri is a legendary sword that appears in Japanese mythology, and provides the creative inspiration for the Raikiri. The model features a number of crisp edges such as on the front and rear face panels, and is finished in an oh-so-cool black with pink designs. Mr. Nezu has ensured that the body features plenty of detail, making this a model that you'll be wanting to wield at the local Mini 4WD circuit ASAP!
The Ultra-Efficient MA Chassis
The MA (Midship AERO) Chassis has its motor in the center, and features a design which focuses upon achieving outstanding aerodynamic performance. It has a gear ratio of 3.5:1, 6 individual low-friction rollers, a rear skid bar and other speedy features developed thanks to years of design experience. The single-piece monocoque frame also guarantees that assembling and keeping the car well-maintained is a task that can be performed by beginners and veteran racers alike.
